Salamanders

Professional commercial salamander grills are designed for grilling, browning, toasting and finishing food using intense heat from above. Ideal for restaurants, hotels, trattorias, delicatessens, steakhouses and commercial kitchens, they are suitable for finishing lasagne, gratinated vegetables, toasted bread, meat, fish and other compatible dishes.

Commercial electric and gas salamander grills are available in different sizes and configurations, featuring overhead heating elements or burners, height-adjustable cooking racks and heat controls depending on the model. Certain versions include adjustable upper heating units, independently controlled cooking zones and timers, allowing the distance between the food and the heat source to be adapted to different preparations.

When choosing a professional salamander grill for a restaurant, consider usable cooking area, power output, energy source, height adjustment, heat-up time and ease of cleaning. Equipment dimensions, utility compatibility and any extraction or ventilation requirements should also be assessed to select a model suitable for the establishment's service volume.
