Tumble dryers

Professional industrial tumble dryers are commercial laundry appliances designed to dry garments, linen and textiles after washing and spinning. Ideal for commercial and industrial laundries, hotels, guesthouses, B&Bs, farm stays, restaurants, wellness centres, care homes, healthcare facilities and self-service laundromats, they process bed sheets, towels, bathrobes, tablecloths, work uniforms and other suitable garments, supporting efficient laundry workflows and reducing reliance on natural air drying.

Commercial tumble dryers for laundry facilities are available in different capacities and configurations, featuring rotating drums, heating systems, forced air circulation, drying programmes and mechanical or electronic controls depending on the model. Heating technologies may include electric, gas-fired or other manufacturer-specified systems. Certain versions feature residual moisture sensors, customisable programmes, reversing drum rotation, final cooling cycles and digital controls. Rated capacity is generally specified in kilograms of dry laundry and should be distinguished from drum volume in litres.

When choosing a professional tumble dryer for hotels or industrial laundries, consider load capacity, drying time, heating technology, power, energy consumption and dimensions. Electrical or gas supply, ventilation requirements, moist air exhaust, condensation management and lint filter access should also be checked according to the model. Maintenance includes regular cleaning of lint filters and accessible ducts to support efficient operation and reduce overheating risks. Drying programmes must be compatible with the textile care labels.
